American National Bank Names Martin Brooks, Debra Lewis, Deborah Atchinson, Jeff Richardson and Michelle Wurth as Community Banking Area Managers

 

American National Bank is pleased to announce new leadership roles for the bank’s Nebraska and Iowa regional offices. The Community Banking Area Managers will be responsible for uniting teams across all markets and consumer-based lines of business in Nebraska and Iowa to deliver the highest degree of client satisfaction and service to meet our client’s financial needs. “The combined energy and experience of this group of leaders positions our Community Banking Team to balance the growth and expansion of our client base, while continuing to provide the highest level of service possible. Martin L. Brooks has been in the retail banking industry for over 40 years. For the last 17 years, he has been with American National Bank. Marty will oversee 6 branches in Iowa/Nebraska and will be responsible for team sales, service, operational and financial goals. He has been instrumental in building long term client relationships and developing financial success through lending and depository services. Marty is a native of Council Bluffs and has spent his entire banking career serving Southwest Iowa and Omaha Markets. Marty represents ANB in many community organizations such as the Midlands Humane Society, COBRA Optimist Club, Council Bluffs Water Works and the Council Bluffs Community School District.

 

Debra Lewis joined American National Bank in 1983. Deb is a proven leader with a deep understanding of client needs and consistently delivers outstanding results. She will be responsible for the growth and development of all branches in Southeast Nebraska and Lincoln markets, ensuring a superior Community Banking operation. In her 23 years with American National Bank, Deb has held many positions including Retail Sales Manager, Community Banking Officer, Ag and Commercial Lending Officer, Marketing Chair and Executive Assistant.

 

Deborah M. Atchinson has been in banking for the past 22 years in various areas such as retail, lending and administration. Starting her career with American National Bank in 2007, Debbie’s most recent role was as a Branch Manager, Assistant VP and Business Development Manager. Debbie has been a valued team member and will continue to develop and maintain strong client relationships and lead branch managers to increase market deposit growth in our suburban communities. Debbie is on the Executive Board for the LaVista Community Foundation, Teammates Mentor and facilitator for Leadership for Life.

 

Jeffrey J. Richardson has been with American National Bank since 2015. In his new role, Jeff will be responsible for loan and deposit growth and oversight of all branch operations in his area of 6 metro Omaha branches. Jeff is a community-minded banker with a passion for employee and organizational growth. He takes pride in investing in and developing deep rooted relationships within the Omaha communities where he lives and works and is active as a coach in 4thekidsLeague.

 

Michelle Wurth has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry having worked in retail, lending, administrative and management roles. Michelle will lead a mature market of 4 branches, in parts of both Iowa and Nebraska, establishing growth, sales and operational objectives for all branches in her area. Michelle is active in Celebrate CB, Jennie Edmundson Foundation, Community Youth Concepts, and Junior Achievement.
