To American National Bank clients:
Banks like us, who have been qualified by the SBA, will serve as a delivery mechanism to businesses, partnerships, sole proprietorships, not-for-profits and other business entities through a newly authorized Paycheck Protection Program. American National Bank is a long-standing SBA Certified and Preferred lender with delegated authority.
We are preparing our lenders and support team members to accept client applications and faithfully administer this program (as well as possible other programs to follow). As soon as we receive all necessary information from the Treasury and the SBA, we will begin working with our systems providers to accept applications as quickly and securely as possible. We are providing guidance on the essential elements of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and what may be needed to complete an application. No regulations or procedures have yet been issued by the Treasury, SBA, bank regulators, or the Federal Reserve Bank, but we will commence as soon as these are received.
