David R. Ridder Named Chief Credit Officer

American National Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of David R. Ridder to Chief Credit Officer. Ridder will be responsible for leading and developing the objectives, policies, procedures and risk analysis of the bank’s credit portfolio to assure overall quality.

“We are excited to have Dave join our executive team. Dave began his career in banking in 1990 and joined American National Bank in 2007. Since that time, he has held progressive leadership positions in our Commercial Banking division. Dave’s expertise, energy and direction have been instrumental in fueling our growth and navigating changes in our dynamic environment,” said Bill Klein, CEO.

Mr. Ridder most recently served as American National Bank’s Senior Vice President- Market President where he was responsible for asset growth, quality, and performance of a commercial banking portfolio as well as new business development within the Omaha market. Prior to his role as Market President, he served as First Vice President-Hub Leader at American National Bank and has over 14 years of commercial banking experience in the greater Omaha area.

Mr. Ridder is a graduate of Midland University, with a BSBA degree in Management and Marketing, and of the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado. He is the past Board Chair of OneWorld Community Health Center and is currently serving on their Finance Committee as well as serving on the Finance Committee of Concordia Lutheran Schools of Omaha. Dave has dedicated over 10 years of volunteer leadership to Trinity Lutheran Church Fremont and numerous other volunteer organizations.
